@Darellbefree4 years ago Been a while since I've seen a corn video. Preference are corns over callus. Like seeing that inner core being dug out😁 18

@charlottegreene90543 years ago Years ago, early 50's, my mom would trim her feet with a razor, soooo me as an onlooker thought my heel was too crusty(Abt 9 yrs old) when she was not there,I took a double edged razor blade and decided to cut off the crusties. Needless to say,I half cut off my heel padding. I slapped it back in place, bleeding, threw a tight sock on and put my shoes back on. Never told anyone, it healed up fine. So people watch your kids who watch u. ... 25

@timlombardini35563 years ago You're so patient with removing those. If it were me then I would take that blade and scoop it out like coring an apple.
Not too sure how that would go over with the clients though

@davisvo52043 years ago are these things something you have to deal with for the rest of your life or do they go away once they get shaved down? 1
  • @
@dawnmason95583 years ago I was told that using a silver nitrate caustic stick on corns slows down or stops the regrowth of the corn, is that correct?
  • @
@mcburcke3 years ago Those things are SO tough! I remember back several years when medical instrument companies were making obsidian glass blades for surgery, because an obsidian edge is incredibly sharp compared to even the best metal blades. I wonder if they're still being produced? Would probably help with things like this... ... 15

@Watkins1064 years ago That’s has to be completely painful! My Papaw did roofing for ages! Sadly I was his one grandbaby that can’t do heights! I hope you, Dr. Ken and the Baby Footfixers are doing well and keeping safe 5

@jennb15623 years ago For some reason I develop calluses under my pinky toe as well , towards the lateral part to the side of my foot. This gentleman has a callus in the same location. I was told it’s due to irregular gait, when too much pressure is placed on the lateral aspect when walking. ... 7

@grantp40223 years ago What should I do next ? I have this corn at the bottom of my heal, just like this
person has, in your video. I read to file it down with a nail file then put moisturizer
on it, which I have done. I've taken it down quite a bit, but the base is still there
and I can feel it, with my finger. Does the "whole callous" have to come out like
you did in this video here, for it to completely go away ? Good video and work
here, and it looks like it could get painful, as mine is sort of sensitive. I use a 1%
hydrocortisone cream after I do the filing. I do bit at a time. Bye the way, I don't
know if mine is a callous or corn ? but their both thickened skin, I would think ?
Very much enjoyed your video :)

@annwaddle52068 months ago Wow that looks painful. I have a very painful something on the side back of my big toe. It has gotten huge and hurts but watching videos of treatments I am thinking I am going to live with the pain. I have watched this one and one warts now and honestly I am scared to go to the doctor. Seeing the size of his I believe mine is bigger but I haven’t had it as long as he has. ...

@ilovemusic71949 months ago i just subscribed! what tool are you using here? i heard you say it is a blade in another video. is there a special name for it? 1
  • @
@wesleybarrett95023 years ago Besides cleaning and soaking what other prep work is done? Even a sharp blade sometimes skips or hass issues digging into hard enough skin.
  • @
@pamelalalaable4 years ago That looked like hard work! I was surprised to see such an old wart surrounded by normal looking skin.
It looked as though it had been stuck on.

@calcham13 years ago Interesting because this is the first corn removal video where I've seen the doctor actually dig into the core to remove it. The others all seem to shave it down, but not dig it out. 5

@davecox5282last year i did not know that smoking played a roll in foot corns i have them on both feet for about 20 years now i do walk on the edges of my feet from a bad car accident when i was younger and thought that was the reason for the corns and yes i am a smoker thanks for the info ...
  • @
@DariusJerel3 years ago I've had one in that same place for about 11 years now. It hurts alot and I pick with it all the time. I shave it down a little to release the pressure. I would love to have this procedure done on me. 6

@lisamaranto3532 years ago I have horrid calluses & corns. These corns & calluses can only be treated by podiatry, not cured. Unless you can treat the underlying imbalance of the structures of the feet, shits gonna keep coming back. How do we treat the underlying structures to prevent this? ...
