@Ellabobel11 months ago Good evening from brisbane, queensland, australia. It is just on 8. 30 pm here my reckoning says you posted about 25 mis ago. That would make it 6am your i feel mean saying this but our temps today have been min 50f. Max 70f and this is our winter. Our summers are rather horrid but with the temps like this
and no frost you can understand why i try to plant basically all year round. We never are advised of the wind chill factor. Ive noticed a few leaves sort-if windburned so i guess we have had some unusually cold winds.
the weather still allows me to go out in the daytime in just short sleeves.
my daughter (rebekah) and i go swimming (in a heated pool)and friday. This keeps me active and keep the arthritis at bay. Im 73 in september so need all the help i can muster.
i love all the improvements you are up to. Really al, you never have been a man to stand still. I know its the way you are made.
gina, i admire you with all the problems you had last year your back there with al busy as ever. Just love your garden. Im sure you miss your lovely big tunnel it will all come when al decides hes got time to do it all.
id better go before i run out of space.
god bless and all my love

al your probably one of the hardest working family' s on youtube. When it comes to building things and leveling the dirt outdoors with the morgans
seams like a good channel to watch.
mike used to be a blaster and worked for a fracking co. Where he picked up some skills on heavy equipment and leveling dirt and gravel. Talked to him once and metioned your channel. He was surprised you picked up so much land where you live. He didn' t think there was that much land available around you.
love you guys and your faith in god.

@sherpa97211 months ago Goood morning from cape breton canada. I just went through my first winter in my 30x30 shop. I used 2inch styrofoam and 6mil plastic on the ground id="hidden9" before pouring the 6in concrete pad. Slight slope for drainage when thawing out the tractor, sxs and vehicles. Walls are 2x6 with r24 insulation and 10-ft ceiling is r44. Used small split air-source heat pump to keep it at 60f all winter. We have similar weather to you. Also used the trusscore pvc panels for the interior, a little more pricier but easier to maintain and no drywall. With the infloor heating you will be golden!. ...Expand 7

@davidward125911 months ago Al, with all the gravel roads and pads you will be maintaining, you really need asmooth roller" compactor drum for your bobcat skid steer. It' s like a rolling 6' wide plate compactor on mega-steroids. Hydraulic system powers the vibration and the weight of the drum rolls gravel, soil, sand, etc. Perfectly flat. Also they do make a laser receiver that bolts onto your excavator blade or the tym box scrape to make leveling a pad much more precise. Love the videos!. ...Expand 2
