I started making this on the flight to their wedding because naturally, the song was stuck in my head! I've been wanting to do a "Steven Universe" PMV for a while and it seemed appropriate with the wedding going on just as the pandemic was getting started (seriously, they were lucky to have their wedding right before everything shut down). Also both shows have recently ended, so this is a bit of a send-off. Casting was a bit difficult though. I knew Spike was the ideal Steven because he's the young character always offering others emotional support. The other characters took a bit of thinking, but I feel like I went with what was best. Cast: Steven - Spike Pink Diamond - Cadence (honestly, cuz she's pink and related to crystals) Rose Quartz - Sugar Belle (pink and closely resembles Cadence, and I needed someone who had a lot of scenes with Big Mac) Greg - Big Mac (very simple soul but with a lot of emotional intelligence) Ruby - Bon-Bon (ex-secret agent/security guard) Sapphire - Lyra (well, this is to celebrate these two officially getting together as well) Pearl - Twilight Sparkle (a know-it-all who tends to freak out a lot) Bismuth - Ember (was looking for someone who wasn't quite a villain but had a bit of an edge, and the armor bit made me think of Ember) Amethyst - Rainbow Dash (eh, kind of self-explanatory) Peridot - Trixie (when looking at the reformed villains, Trixie was the one who still continued to be a bit self-centered, but in a more lovable way) Lapis - Starlight (out of all the reformed villains, Starlight took the most adjusting, and while I had Luna as an option too, I also considered her friendship with Trixie and how sometimes it can get rocky)
