Hey gu fam, thanks again for tuning in. Today, I welcome you to join my wifey Nancy and I as we demonstrate (in our opinion) one of kinesiology tape's greatest uses...relieving pregnancy pain. We will go over a few of our favorite tape placements for eliminating the nagging pain that comes along with pregnancy. We use KT Tape. There are many different brands out there. Click this link for a great chart comparing kinesiology tape brands...https://www.theratape.com/education-center/kinesiology-tape-brands/2726-kinesiology-tape-brand-comparison/ Here are some notes: The potential benefits of kinesio tape and its various applications are explained, including helping muscles to relax, pain reduction, performance optimization, injury prevention, circulation improvement and reduction of swelling. When the tape is applied correctly, it achieves the last of these effects by lifting the skin to create a small space between the muscle and dermis layers. That space takes the pressure off swelling or injured muscles, allows smooth muscle movement and makes space for drainage and blood flow. Although it can be applied in a variety of patterns, the tape predominantly works in a few key ways. Kinesiology tape offers structural or muscle support; it can correct postural problems and increase blood flow and lymphatic drainage Special Thanks To: Thanks to Retnik Beats, (https://soundcloud.com/retnik) + (/c/retnikbeatsbe/) Thanks for the fire. I've been religiously training for just about my whole life...and I've been loving it. As a personal trainer, my job is to coach people toward better fitness, functionality and more fun. Fun is the key. This channel was created out of love. Please feel free to reach out and contact me.
