Ingredients
Grated Carrot-1 cup
Sugar-3tbsp
Salt-
Full Fat Milk-1 3/4cup
Ghee-1-2tbsp
Cardamom powder -1/2tsp
Cashew nuts -5
Raisins-5
Method
Peel,Wash and Grate Carrot ..
In a kadai add ghee and heat ..
Then add grated carrot and fry for 5 minutes .
Then add sugar and salt and mix well.
Cook or 2 minutes .
Now add milk and boil..
Cook well by stirring continuously ..
Check the taste ..
Now add cardamom powder and mix..
Saute the halwa till it become thick ..
We can see ghee oozing out from the halwa ..
When done the halwa won't stick to the kadai ..
Finally add fried cashew nuts and raisins ..
Mix well..
U can serve hot or cold ..
Ice cream is the best combo..
So the tasty Carrot Halwa is ready to serve ..
