National Register of Citizens (NRC)

In the final list released on Aug 31, 2019, of the National Register of Citizens (NRC) around 19 lakhs were excluded from the list and these people may now have to appeal before the Foreigners Tribunals to prove they are not foreigners and are Indian Citizens.
