July 20, 2022 | Zelensky's wife Zelenska asks for more weapons in address to US Congress members --- Ukraine’s first lady, Olena Zelenska, pleaded to U.S. lawmakers in remarks at the U.S. Capitol for more weapons to fight Russia’s invasion of Ukraine. “Weapons that would not be used to wage a war on somebody else’s land but to protect one own’s home,” said the first lady, adding “help us to stop this terror against Ukrainians.” The first lady showed members of Congress several images of Ukrainian children and citizens killed by Russian attacks.
